This song was inspired by grandma's (Peter's mom) conversations with the grandkids. Grandma always asks, "Do you know how much you're loved?" and the kids answer, "Too too much!" The idea is to "check-in" every once in a while with kids (and adults for that matter), to make sure that, despite any challenges or down times, everyone remembers they're still loved.
